As of 2014, Kaiser Permanente is the largest managed care consortium in the United States.
In this role i am tasked with the creation of an overall data management strategy for the $60B/year organization. KP’s mission is to deliver quality healthcare to its members at a reasonable price. To achieve this mission, the organization is embracing data as a strategic asset, and is investing in the development of robust platforms and management practices to ensure that the right data is available to the right people/systems, at the right time.
By employing innovative people and techniques, my team is building the most mature data foundation in the healthcare space. This investment will serve as the vehicle to deliver cutting edge clinical care to our members and patients, while ensuring that data privacy and security is managed across all our processes and platforms.
